The Golden State Warriors won their second consecutive game on Wednesday night, beating the Philadelphia 76ers 127-104.
During the game, Warriors rookie Brandin Podziemski scored 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.
During his 25 minutes on the floor, he did something that hadn’t been accomplished in more than four decades.
According to Monte Poole, Podziemski is the first NBA player in 44 years to play more than 130 minutes over a four-game span and record at least 25 points without a turnover.
He has earned 27 assists and zero turnovers in the last 136 minutes on the floor.

Podziemski has been earning his place on the team during his rookie season, averaging 9.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 3.6 assists.
Poole is right when he says that the Warriors are prone to turnovers and it’s been an issue for the team all season long.
But Podziemski has shown that he has a great handle on the ball and is able to find his teammates easily without losing possession.
This is a skill that is usually reserved for guards who have been in the league for several years.
His first season isn’t over yet but many Warriors fans are expecting great things far into the future with this young player.
The Warriors might go through some substantial changes at the NBA trade deadline and the roster could be shaken up.
That means that Podziemski may get even more chances to show off his skills and become more crucial to this struggling team.
If he continues playing like this, Podziemski could be the team’s starting shooting guard when the next season begins.
