Brandin Podziemski was a big part of the Golden State Warriors’ victory on Monday night, posting 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 assists in their win over the Brooklyn Nets.
It was a strong showing from Podziemski, who has been doing terrific work lately.
As pointed out by TheWarriorsTalk, Podziemski has now had three double-doubles in a row.
The last Golden State player to do that was DeMarcus Cousins in 2019.

Just a few nights ago, Podziemski scored 15 points and 11 rebounds again, that time against the Atlanta Hawks.
Before that, he recorded 12 points and 14 assists against the Memphis Grizzlies.
For the season, the rookie has averaged 9.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game and has now started in 12 games.
He is on the floor for about 25 minutes per game and has earned a spot for himself on this team, despite it being his first year.
The Warriors need all the help they can get this year so they are very happy to see this sort of output from Podziemski, who was the 19th pick in last summer’s draft.
When he was selected in the draft, it wasn’t immediately clear what sort of role he’d have on the team.
But the Warriors have been struggling all year, giving Podziemski a chance to really step up and shine and show what he is capable of.
There are indeed many people who think that he could be with the team for a long time to come.
This year’s rookie class is packed full of terrific talent and Podziemski is just one of the many young men making an impact on the league.
In just a short amount of time, Podziemski has become an up-and-coming hero for the Warriors.
