The Golden State Warriors dominated the 2010s like no other team in the NBA.
The popularity of the franchise among teenagers skyrocketed like never before, and it was none other than Stephen Curry who was primarily responsible for the team’s success.
Stephen Curry remains not only one of the best players in the world but also insanely popular.
A perfect example of this was when Warriors rookie Lester Quinones shared an honest admission about playing with his idol via the NBA G League Twitter handle.
“All through middle school, I had like Warriors stuff all in my room, the posters, I had Steph’s,” Quinones said.
Lester Quinones was a @warriors and Steph Curry fanatic as kid. Now, the two-way signee is teammates with the player he used to idolize. ⭐️

Quinones mentioned how he had his entire room covered with Warriors posters and idolized No. 30 on the roster.
Considering Quinones is on a two-way contract with the organization, he has fulfilled his dream of sharing the locker room with Curry.
Speaking of Quinones’ NBA career, he has played just four games over two seasons and averaged 2.5 points per game for the Golden State Warriors.
But since he is just 23 years old, he may get a chance to play on the Warriors’ primary roster if an opportunity opens up in the future.
It is yet another example of how Curry has influenced this generation.
Curry changed the way that the game of basketball is played in the modern era with his insane shooting ability from the three-point line, and continues to surpass expectations of fans during his NBA career.
Even as a 35-year-old, Curry is averaging 28.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game for the Warriors this season.
