The Golden State Warriors are far from their usual dominant selves during the 2023-24 NBA season.
However, there have been a couple of silver linings for the Dubs in an otherwise forgettable campaign.
Among them is the performance of Warriors rookie Brandin Podziemski.
Despite being the 19th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, Podziemski didn’t take long before finding regular minutes under the coaching of Steve Kerr.
However, the star rookie has been going through a slump over the past few games, and Podziemski is aware of it as he vouched to face the challenge via his official Twitter handle.

Podziemski used a single emoji to highlight the fact that he is taking note of hitting the proverbial rookie wall.
He is now tasked with overcoming the challenge and truly proving himself to be a player who can dominate the league while donning the Warriors jersey in the future.
In fact, the Warriors’ final record for the 2023-24 NBA season could very well depend on how the 19th overall pick plays in the remaining games.
So far this season, Podziemski has made 34 appearances and averaged 9.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game for the Warriors.
He has shot an acceptable 45.7% from the field and 39.1% from the three-point line while playing 24.4 minutes per game this season.
These stats are certainly good enough for a basketball player drafted in the second half of the first round of the NBA Draft.
But can he improve these numbers?
