Being a rookie in the NBA is one of the most daunting tasks for any basketball player around the world.
After all, the journey of becoming a great basketball player is not easy by any means.
Another aspect of being a rookie in the league is dealing with the lighthearted bullying of senior players on the team.
But at the same time, when rookies perform well, they can receive great praise from everyone.
Warriors rookies Trayce Jackson-Davis and Brandin Podziemski recently had terrific G-League performances, as revealed via r/Warriors on Twitter.

Johnson-Davis put up 28 points, 12 rebounds, and 1 assist against the Stockton Kings, while Podziemski had 24 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists in the 125-114 victory for the Santa Cruz Warriors.
Following the sensational performance, Podziemski posted a story of Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal on his official Instagram.
Podziemski portrayed himself as the late NBA great Kobe Bryant, while he tagged Johnson-Davis over Shaquille O’Neal.
Considering Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal are considered one of the best duos to ever play in the NBA, comparing himself and Jackson-Davis to them is a huge statement.
While it’s obvious that the Warriors rookies have the talent to maybe one day become good players in the NBA, it’s still a huge statement to even think about comparing to the duo of Bryant and O’Neal.
With that being said, thanks to the explosive performance of the dynamic duo, the Santa Cruz Warriors are off to a 1-0 start to their G-League season.
Can they continue this form throughout the season? Only time will tell.
