The Golden State Warriors are hoping to put the troubles of last season behind them and prove to the NBA that they are still one of the best teams in the league.
In order to make that happen, everyone will have to play well.
So far, the preseason has shown a few things to be excited about.
Jonathan Kuminga has definitely been a highlight and has scored more than 20 points in both of his games.
C.J. Holmes is one of the many people who noticed and wrote on Twitter, “Jonathan Kuminga is acting different.”

That is quite an understatement.
In his first two games of the preseason, Kuminga has scored 24 and then 26 points.
He has also shot 50% from the three-point line in his first game and 60% from downtown during the second.
Taking a look at his output from last season, it’s clear that Kuminga is doing more.
He averaged 9.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists last season with a three-point percentage of 37%.
In a very short amount of time, it looks like Kuminga has hugely enhanced his game and has become a better player in just about every way.
This could be a major difference-maker for the Warriors in 2023-24.
For years now, fans of the team have claimed that the roster isn’t deep and head coach Steve Kerr doesn’t have enough players to rely on.
But Kuminga is beefing up his game and proving that the team doesn’t just have to revolve around Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.
The NBA season is long and Kuminga will have to keep it up but he is definitely off to a very promising start.
