The 2024 Paris Olympics are approaching and fans of all sports will be watching closely and rooting for their countries.
There are several members of the Golden State Warriors who could represent America in the games, but what would they play if basketball wasn’t their sport of choice?
That was the question posed to Warriors players, via a video shared by NBC Sports.
In the video, we learned that it would be rowing for Klay Thompson, volleyball for Chris Paul, and track for Draymond Green.

While it is amusing to think of Thompson on a row boat representing America, it’s very unlikely that will happen.
But will he play basketball for Team USA?
That’s not entirely clear but the team is quietly being assembled behind the scenes.
Earlier this week, USA Basketball released a pool of finalists vying for the 12-man roster.
41 players were listed, including Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtic, Damian Lillard of the Milwaukee Bucks, Kyrie Irving of the Dallas Mavericks, Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns, and many others.
Meanwhile, Draymond Green of the Warriors was excluded from the list because of the actions from this season.
Grant Hill, executive director of USA Basketball, spoke about Green playing for Team USA.
“His contributions have been significant, and he is a real part of the legacy of this organization for his excellence. But I think just in lieu of sort of what’s transpired this year, we made a decision to not have [Green] on this list with this particular point in time with the process,” Hill told ESPN.
Although Green won’t be playing in the Olympics, there might be other stars from the Warriors who could be flying to Paris in a few months.
