The Golden State Warriors have had many iconic moments in their history and one of the best was from Klay Thompson seven years ago.
In a legendary game against the Indiana Pacers, Thompson posted an astonishing 60 points in just 29 minutes on the court.
The Warriors continued to celebrate this game on Tuesday and posted a video from it on Twitter.

Fans of the team came out to applaud Thompson, although some of the praise was bittersweet.
Many people fondly remember the massive output from Thompson and said that “era of warriors hoop was as close to poetry as you can get in the form of basketball.”
It truly was a special time to be a Warriors fan, as they were considered by many to be the best team in the league and Thompson was considered one of the greatest players alive.

Although there was a chorus of people once again chanting Thompson’s name online, there were others who said that the past is long gone and the current state of the team is troubling.
“Warriors need to move away from their glory days,” one person said, before stating that the team has to figure out why it’s having so many problems this year.
Warriors need to move away from their glory days. Those days are gone. They need to focus on why they can't win this season and fix it. I feel that it begins with the stubborness of Kerr. The old crew ain't cutting it. (Except for Curry)

Others echoed that sentiment, saying that it’s unlikely we will see Thompson perform like this again.
“That Klay Thompson is no more unfortunately,” they said.
That Klay Thompson is no more unfortunately… his performances has dropped below standards

While it is true that Thompson has been struggling lately, there is no doubt that he could pull himself out of this rut and again be one of the most important parts of the Warriors roster.
Even if he never has another 60-point game in his career, Thompson’s place in Warriors history is undeniable.
