The Golden State Warriors are trying to move forward into the rest of the season after the heartbreaking loss of their assistant coach, Dejan Milojević.
Wednesday night will feature the team’s first game since the passing of Milojević last week and they are going to honor him before a caring home crowd.
The team also revealed how they will remember Milojević for the rest of the season.
On Twitter, they posted a picture of a “DM” patch that will be on all the uniforms for the remainder of the year.
It is just one of many ways the Warriors will celebrate and carry on the legacy of their late coach and friend.

Milojević passed away last week after suffering a heart attack at a team dinner in Salt Lake City.
Understandably, his death was shocking and traumatizing for the team and the league immediately canceled their games.
After a few days of silence, multiple members of the Warriors began to speak about Milojević and what he meant to them.
By all accounts, he was a lovable, caring, hard-working man who helped the stars of the team, not only as athletes but also as friends.
When Milojević passed, it was clear that the team was going to do something to remember him.
It doesn’t stop with this patch and Golden State will continue to speak about Milojević and surely hold some sort of vigil or ceremony for players and fans.
The rest of the NBA has come out to support the Warriors during this very difficult time.
The team will return to playing on Wednesday night, facing the Atlanta Hawks at home.
