At this point, it seems very likely that the Golden State Warriors will do something big soon.
It’s not clear which players will be traded and which will be received, but the Warriors can’t keep going down the path they’re on.
Speaking to Run It Back, NBA great Vince Carter spoke about what the troubled team needs right now.
“[The Golden State Warriors] need to find some youth and some offense,” Carter said.
He added that the current stock of youthful players at Golden State isn’t being used correctly and things need to change, either with new players or new roles.

Carter also added that the return of Draymond Green could greatly help the team and relieve some of the pressure on Stephen Curry.
Curry has had his hands full lately, Carter said, especially since he’s been trying to lead his team and also handle questions from the press about the Warriors, their future, Green, and more.
The conventional wisdom says the Warriors will commit to some major trade before the deadline in February.
However, no one knows which direction they will take.
The idea of more youthful energy coming to the team definitely seems appealing, but other fans want the coaching staff to instead focus on the up-and-coming talent that is already there.
Rookie players and others like Jonathan Kuminga should get more time, these fans say.
The front office has a tough task ahead and many options.
They need to be careful but more than anything, they need to do whatever they can to move on from this very troubled and complicated chapter in the team’s history.
