When Klay Thompson returned to the Golden State Warriors in early 2022, it was after more than two years away from the game.
During that time, the Warriors had some serious struggles but were also able to find success without Thompson as well.
While most fans of the team desperately missed Thompson, some uninformed followers didn’t know what they were lacking with Thompson on the bench for so long.

A perfect example of Thompson’s greatness came on January 23, 2015, when he put on a clinic against the Sacramento Kings.
In that game, the guard scored a whopping 37 points in one quarter.
But that isn’t the only phenomenal thing he has done in his career: Thompson has also had 11 threes in a playoff game, 60 points in just 29 minutes, 14 threes in a game, 43 points on just 4 dribbles, and has made 10 straight three-pointers.
Again and again throughout his career, Thompson has given Warriors fans something to cheer about.
One Half Of The Splash
In the 2021-22 season, Thompson put up 20.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.8 assists.
It took him a little while to shake the rust off of him after so much time away from the court but Thompson was looking like his regular old self by the time the season came to an end.
He was a little off his game during the playoffs and Finals and didn’t shoot as reliably as usual but he was still able to get off some important, pivotal shots for the team.
Most everyone agrees that Thompson will only look better and better as time goes on.
For years, he has been one of the best shooters and players in the league and he has no intention of letting people forget it.
