Everyone knows that the Golden State Warriors are a team that can shoot three-pointers.
In fact, they have literally changed the way the league works and there are now more players intent on landing shots from downtown than ever before.
A large part of that is due to Stephen Curry, who has become the three-point leader and has the most treys in league history.
But there is someone else associated with the Warriors who is a three-point master.
Most seasons shooting 40 3P% or better:

In fact, head coach Steve Kerr and Curry are tied when it comes to the number of seasons they have had shooting 40% or better from the three-point line.
Kerr achieved 11 seasons at 40 or better, while Kyle Korver had 12 and Steve Nash had 14.
It only makes sense that the best three-point shooter in the game is being coached by one of the greatest to ever do it.
Three-Point Dynasty
He is known as the coach of the Warriors now but some people forget just what a talented and accomplished player Kerr was during his time in the league.
In the end, his three-point percentage ended up being 45.4% for his career and he has a regular field goal percentage that was just a bit higher at 47.9%.
After playing for Phoenix, Cleveland, Orlando, Chicago, San Antonio, and Portland, Kerr hung up his jersey in 2003 and started to focus on becoming a coach.
He would work under Gregg Popovich at the Spurs before finally making his home in Golden State, where his second incredible career in the league really took off.
It’s no wonder that the team started to focus so heavily on shooting great threes, that was something Kerr had been doing for years.
