Players for the Golden State Warriors have a whole slew of hardware that makes the rest of the NBA envious.
They have won the Larry O’Brien trophy multiple times, claiming victory in the NBA Finals four times over the last ten years.
That’s enough to make them one of the best teams in the history of the NBA.
However, a few of their players have some other gold that is just as valuable as championship rings – if not more so.

The Warriors hopped on Twitter to remind fans that just a few years ago, both Klay Thompson and Draymond Green came home from the 2016 Summer Olympics with gold medals.
Both of these guys were part of the legendary Men’s Basketball Team that stormed through the games in Rio de Janeiro and came home as champions.
Today, these two players still show off the same set of skills that made them Olympic gold medalists.
Golden Going For The Gold
Back in 2016, the Olympic basketball team only had two players returning from the 2012 squad: Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony.
That means there were a lot of changes coming to the team and they had much to prove.
America’s basketball team has been the gold standard in the Olympics for years now, ever since the Dream Team of the 90s revolutionized Olympic basketball.
In 2016, the crew once again wanted to defeat all competitions and make the United States proud.
That is exactly what they did.
After tearing through China, Venezuela, Serbia, and France, Team USA then took on competitors such as Argentina and Spain.
In the end, they faced off against Serbia again and easily defeated the team in the final game.
That made Thompson and Green champions – again – and made America very happy with its Team USA basketball team.
