Thursday is not just the NBA trade deadline, it’s also a very special day for Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson.
Thompson is turning 34 years old on Thursday and he received a great present late Wednesday night.
A video shared by TheWarriorsTalk showed Draymond Green and several Warriors players serenading Thompson with a very heartfelt but slightly off-key happy birthday song.
It was a wonderful way to end a very good night for the team.

The Warriors were flying to Indiana after just defeating the Philadelphia 76ers 127-104.
This was Golden State’s second win in a row after taking down the Brooklyn Nets only a few days before.
The team was likely in good spirits because they have now won their last four of five games.
For a team that has been struggling all season long, these wins are very important and give them motivation despite their troubles.
During Wednesday’s game, Thompson scored 18 points and 3 rebounds.
It was a much better game than his showing against the Nets when he scored only 8 points and 6 rebounds.
Thompson has been having a very troubled season, leading many people to wonder what the future will hold for him and the Warriors.
Thompson and his management haven’t worked out any sort of contract extension with the team and his lackluster season means that his future is unclear.
There are even some people thinking he could be traded before the deadline on Thursday.
Hopefully, Thompson wasn’t thinking of any of that as he sat on the plane and watched his teammates and friends celebrate him on his big day.
