The Golden State Warriors still don’t know when they’ll see Draymond Green again but they do know that he will likely be a very different player when he’s back.
Green, who is still indefinitely suspended by the league, is reportedly doing a lot of self-reflection and working on himself to prevent any more on-court outbursts.
Head coach Steve Kerr spoke with 95.7 The Game and talked about Green’s upcoming return.
Kerr said:
“What’s happened over the last year it has been disappointing and we are really counting on Draymond to make some strides with this stuff, and we’re confident that he will be able to and that he’ll be able to come back and play at a high level.”

Kerr went on to say that Green is in “good spirits” and has been communicating frequently with the team.
He believes that Green will make good on the promises he made and will be a different man when he eventually returns.
However, he doesn’t know when that will be because the league oversees Green’s suspension.
Those are fairly stark words from Kerr and it’s the first time he has admitted that Green has let down the team and left them disappointed.
For years, Kerr and others with the Warriors have repeatedly defended Green, even when he did some fairly outlandish and questionable things.
It’s clear that things are very different this time and the Warriors are expecting a lot from their hot-headed big man.
What will the new Green look like?
Will he be radically different or will he still have the same sort of energy and personality he had before with more control over his actions?
We will find out soon, although we don’t know how soon.
