The Golden State Warriors finally snapped out of their six-game losing streak following a close victory against the Houston Rockets.
After the win, the Dubs have improved their record to 7-8, but they are still just the 10th seed in the Western Conference.
While there are many reasons behind the Warriors’ struggles this season, the inconsistency of Draymond Green is probably among the top issues for the organization.
Green is currently serving a five-game suspension following his heated scuffle against the Minnesota Timberwolves’ Rudy Gobert.
Green is as controversial as any NBA player can get, but despite knowing that, head coach Steve Kerr claimed that the Warriors need their veteran forward, via 95.7 The Game on Twitter.
“Bottom line is we need Draymond. Without him, we don’t have as much force,” Kerr said.
"Bottom line is we need Draymond. Without him, we don't have as much force…We just need him and he knows that. I've made that pretty clear. It's obvious, but he's gotta be there for his teammates."

Kerr openly admitted to needing Green on the roster to be impactful, and there’s no harm in it.
But Kerr also made it clear that Green needs to understand the importance of just being available for his teammates.
So far this season, Green has played just nine games, where he has averaged 8.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game on a solid 48.2% from the field and 45.0% from the three-point line.
The Warriors may be just one game below the .500 mark, but they have a terrible 3-7 record over the last 10 games of the regular season.
Considering the Warriors were touted as one of the NBA Championship contenders ahead of this season, the Dubs have certainly disappointed many fans.
With Green all set to return soon, can the Warriors still put together a winning streak and become a high seed?
