Draymond Green is on the verge of returning to the Golden State Warriors, but it’s not entirely clear when the four-time champion will be back with his team.
Green has been given the green light from the league but he hasn’t suited up and probably won’t for a few more days.
Speaking to 95.7 The Game, head coach Steve Kerr shed some light on when Green could be playing alongside Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and others.
Kerr said:
“We don’t know for sure. He won’t play tomorrow and then he’ll go to Chicago with us on Thursday and the back-to-back in Milwaukee, so he’ll be on that road trip. Whenever [Director of Sports Medicine] Rick [Celebrini] says he is ready we will put him in.”

So, according to Kerr, Green won’t play in Wednesday night’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans.
But he will be traveling with the team during their three-game road trip against the Chicago Bulls, Milwaukee Bucks, and Memphis Grizzlies.
It seems like he will play at some point during that trip.
Green has averaged 9.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.8 assists during the season so far and has been shooting 49% from the field.
The Warriors can always use his mix of offensive and defensive skills, but they can do without his on-court antics and suspensions.
Whenever Green returns, all eyes will be closely monitoring him and seeing if he has made any real changes.
Green had to meet certain conditions before his suspension was lifted by the league, and they are obviously happy with his progress.
But the real test will come when he finally plays with the Warriors again.
If Green can hold it together and avoid situations like the ones he has gotten into before, he will be celebrated as the former Defensive Player of the Year that he is.
But if he slips back into bad habits, the future of his career will be in jeopardy.
