NBA fans have gotten used to seeing the Golden State Warriors dominate in the league over the past decade or so.
However, in recent years, especially in the 2023-24 NBA season, the organization is finally starting to show signs of decline.
Aside from the short-lived excellent run at the start of the season, the Dubs have struggled to win games in this campaign.
Keeping that in mind, the NBA rumor mill is full of potential trade deals for the Warriors ahead of Thursday’s NBA trade deadline.
While many reports have deemed the Warriors desperate to make a move, head coach Steve Kerr recently refuted these reports via 95.7 The Game on Twitter.
“There’s plenty of conversations, but 0 desperation,” Kerr said.
"I don't anticipate anything happening…I can tell you there's been no desperation on our part. There's plenty of conversations, but 0 desperation."

Kerr claimed he doesn’t anticipate the Warriors making any desperate moves to improve the team’s roster ahead of the deadline.
The veteran head coach did claim there have been plenty of conversations about making a trade, but there is still no desperation.
To be honest, it’s unlikely Kerr would have agreed to the reports even if there was desperation behind the scenes.
After all, the Dubs are currently the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 22-25 record.
With veterans like Klay Thompson and Draymond Green struggling to reclaim their glory days, it’s only natural for the Warriors to potentially inquire about trades.
Regardless of any desperation, the fanbase wants the Warriors to make a blockbuster trade this Thursday in hopes of improving the team’s roster before it’s too late to save the season.
