The Golden State Warriors acquired Chris Paul from the Washington Wizards via a shocking trade earlier this year.
Initially, most fans of the organization were confused with the Warriors’ decision to trade away a young star in Jordan Poole for an aging Chris Paul.
But as time has passed, many have started to come around and actually show respect for what Paul is doing for the team.
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr recently praised Chris Paul for maintaining an excellent assist-to-turnover ratio via Anthony Slater on Twitter.
“He’s up to 62 assists and six turnovers. That’s insane,” Kerr praised Chris Paul.

There are many things that Chris Paul may struggle with, but being an elite point guard has never been a problem for him.
In fact, Paul has provided 62 assists for the Warriors and turned the ball over only six times.
It’s certainly a key aspect of Paul’s greatness in the NBA, as the veteran guard doesn’t have much time left before hanging up his sneakers for good.
For the season, Paul is averaging 8.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 7.8 assists per game for the Warriors.
However, it’s Paul’s shooting splits that are a point of concern for many.
The 12x NBA All-Star is shooting 36.0% from the field and 13.8% from downtown.
Considering Paul has never been such a poor shooter, but this season, something seems off about his shooting.
Thankfully, the rest of the team is pulling Paul’s weight as a scorer.
But as far as playmaking is concerned, Paul is undoubtedly one of the best players in the NBA right now.
