Following another stinging loss on Thursday night, Steve Kerr admitted that the Miami Heat “controlled the game.”
According to a video shared by 95.7 The Game on Twitter, Kerr went on to say that his Golden State Warriors “got outcoached, outworked, and outplayed.”
Looking at the box score, it’s hard to argue with his assessment.

Even without Jimmy Butler, the Heat worked the Warriors over with ease.
Tyler Herro was the player who shined the most on Thursday with 26 points, while Jamal Cain had 18 coming off the bench, and both Bam Adebayo and Jaime Jaquez Jr. posted 17 points each.
It was a full team effort from the Heat, while everyone on the Warriors’ roster struggled.
Stephen Curry had an off-night with just 13 points, which was the same point total that Klay Thompson earned.
Multiple Warriors stars reached double digits, but just barely, and no one was able to lead the team.
As Kerr said, the Warriors got outworked in just about every way.
This isn’t the first time that the Heat have surprised a team, even while being shorthanded.
They have a talent for sneaking up on opponents and overcompensating for missing players.
As for the Warriors, they are now on a two-game losing streak and fans are starting to worry once again.
They have a series of difficult games ahead of them and are still without Draymond Green, who is reportedly planning a mid-January return.
Green always adds energy to the team but will he add enough?
How deep of a hole will the team be in by the time their temperamental big man comes back?
