It’s not clear why, but Andrew Wiggins of the Golden State Warriors has had a rough start to the season.
Through nine games so far, Wiggins has averaged 10.8 points and 3.6 rebounds.
When compared to last season’s 17.1 points and 5 rebounds, you can see that Wiggins isn’t looking like his regular self.
But head coach Steve Kerr is advising fans to not worry too much about it.
“Wiggs is comin’,” Kerr said to 95.7 The Game.
He continued, “Wigg will be fine. Just so happens that the struggle he’s going through is at the very beginning of the season when everybody’s paying attention…If you go through this in February, it’s not nearly as big of a deal”

When Wiggins came to the Warriors back in 2019-20, he filled a void left by Kevin Durant and quickly became a crucial part of the team’s lineup.
He proved himself repeatedly, especially during the 2022 NBA Finals.
But lately, Wiggins has seemed shaken and not in his comfort zone on the court.
In fact, during two recent games, Wiggins only scored 8 and 4 points, respectively.
Kerr has noticed the issues that Wiggins is working through and has limited his minutes at times.
However, he is sure that Wiggins will rebound and play much better later in the season.
Kerr has always been the sort of coach who has faith in his players and gives them time to find their rhythm and pull out of a rut.
He has done it before with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and others, and he will do it again with Wiggins.
The Warriors have gotten off to a strong start and currently have a 6-3 record.
Even though they are doing well, they are ready for Wiggins to find his footing and play like an All-Star again.
