The Golden State Warriors are undoubtedly one of the biggest disappointments in the 2023-24 NBA season.
Despite having a seemingly excellent roster to start the season, the Warriors have failed to reach a good record around the trade deadline.
Most believe the Dubs have no one but themselves to blame, as they haven’t played with a competitive spirit for most of the season.
Keeping that in mind, head coach Steve Kerr called out the players recently for the lack of grit in their playing style.
Well, over the last month or so, the Warriors have not significantly improved their record, but Kerr is happy with his players’ response to his public call-out, as revealed via Warriors on NBCS on Twitter.
“They responded well. I feel good about the level of our competitiveness. Our guys are playing hard,” Kerr said.

Kerr pointed out that his players responded well to his comments, and he is currently loving their level of competitiveness.
While it’s good to know that Kerr and the players are on the same page, the issue about their poor record this season remains persistent.
The Warriors are currently the 12th seed in the Western Conference with an underwhelming 20-24 record.
As a result, the Dubs’ chances of making it to the playoffs are looking extremely slim right now.
On a positive note, the Warriors managed to bounce back after their heartbreaking 144-145 loss last weekend at the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers.
Rather than sulking about the defeat, the Warriors responded by registering a solid 119-107 win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
Can the Warriors continue playing at this level?
