There have been growing frustrations in the Golden State Warriors fanbase, as the team has faced several difficulties so far this season.
Because of this, some people are calling on head coach Steve Kerr to make a change, including in the ways that he handles the roster.
Speaking with 95.7 The Game, Kerr resisted calls to stop relying so much on the veterans of the team instead of some of the younger, up-and-coming players.
“We won a championship a year and a half ago. The guys who are going to drive us to win a title or not, we know who they are. They’re Steph, Draymond, Wiggs, Loon, and Klay,” Kerr said on Willard & Dibs.

Kerr went on to say that the newer players, such as Moses Moody, Dario Saric, Brandin Podziemski, and others, do have a place on the team.
But he recommitted to the idea that the path to winning a championship is through Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Kevon Looney, and Andrew Wiggins.
A few years ago, all fans would have agreed with that.
Indeed, this was the crew that won the title just a couple of seasons ago.
But that same crew is going through a rough patch and isn’t able to overcome multiple other playoff contenders.
Curry, Thompson, and Wiggins played quite well the other night against the Sacramento Kings, and yet the Warriors still lost.
To many, this means a change is necessary but Kerr doesn’t believe so.
Kerr is the one who calls the shot and directs the team forward and, as of now, he is comfortable with the approach he is taking.
But a growing number of fans are not.
