The Golden State Warriors are off to a sensational start to the 2023-24 season with a record of 3-1 right now.
Stephen Curry deserves a lot of credit for the team’s phenomenal start, as he’s currently in unbelievable form.
In the first four games of the season, Curry is averaging 33.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game.
In a typical Stephen Curry fashion, he’s carrying the Warriors on his shoulders, at least for now.
Despite the great start, Curry claimed this isn’t the hottest start to a season of his career via Anthony Slater on Twitter.
“No. 2016,” Curry said.
This is not as hot as Steph Curry has felt to open a season
“No. 2016.”

Curry mentioned the 2015-16 NBA season was the hottest start to a season in his career.
During the 2015-16 season, Curry averaged 37.0 points per game over the first four games of the season, including a 53-point performance against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Curry was on a different level that season as he went on to average 30.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game.
Moreover, Curry won the first and only unanimous NBA MVP award.
It was a dream year for the Warriors as they were 73-9 that season and broke the Chicago Bulls’ previous record of most wins in a regular season.
The only stain in an otherwise perfect season was blowing a 3-1 lead against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2016 NBA Finals.
With the sensational start to the season, fans are already expecting Curry to lead the Dubs back to glory and win the fifth NBA Championship of his career.
Can Curry and the Warriors do that? Fans will find out over the course of the season.
