There was a time when Jordan Poole was viewed as the rightful successor to none other than the greatest shooter of all time, Stephen Curry.
Moreover, Poole proved his worth to the team after helping the Warriors in winning the 2022 NBA Championship.
However, that proved to be the peak for Jordan Poole’s time with the Dubs, as he was traded this past summer after an underwhelming performance in the 2022-23 NBA season.
Keeping that in mind, Poole on the Washington Wizards recently played against his former teammates for the first time this season.
Stephen Curry shared his honest opinion on facing his former teammate via 95.7 The Game on Twitter.
“It was great to see him… It was really weird playing against him,” Curry said of Poole.

Prior to getting traded to the Washington Wizards, Jordan Poole spent four seasons with the Golden State Warriors.
During his stint with the Dubs, it’s no surprise that Poole forged a close relationship with many veterans on the team.
Although Draymond Green wasn’t one of them, the same cannot be said for Stephen Curry.
It was evident that Curry missed playing together with Poole from his answer about the recent matchup between the two sides.
As expected, Curry felt weird facing off against the young stud after sharing the locker room with him for the last four seasons.
Speaking of the matchup, the Warriors registered an easy 129-118 win over the Wizards.
It was once again a brilliant performance from Stephen Curry, who recorded 30 points, 4 rebounds, and 7 assists in just 27 minutes of playing time against the Wizards.
