The Golden State Warriors are once again without Draymond Green, whose latest suspension is his harshest yet.
This suspension seems different in several ways, including how the rest of the Warriors have responded to it.
Instead of simply defending their friend, members of Golden State are saying that Green really does need to do some substantial work.
Speaking to the press, via Anthony Slater, Steph Curry spoke about Green, his actions, and his future.
“He can’t do what he’s been doing. He knows that. We know that. Everybody knows that. What that means to change, I think that’s the search,” Curry said.

After previous outbursts, Curry, Steve Kerr, and others would essentially rally around Green.
They wouldn’t defend his actions but they would defend the man and stand up for him and what he’s capable of.
This time, they are all saying the same thing: Green needs help and he absolutely has to make some changes.
On one hand, Curry is saying this because he cares deeply about Green, who is a close friend of his.
He wants to see someone he loves get help, be happy, and deal with whatever anger issues he is grappling with.
On the other hand, Curry knows that the team is worse because of these actions.
The constant problems that Green causes and his absences from games harm Golden State’s chances and disrupt team harmony.
The Warriors have plenty of headaches to worry about, they shouldn’t have to be consumed by this too.
For a number of reasons, Curry wants Green to get help and put all of this behind him.
But just like everyone else, Curry has no idea how long this process will take.
