After a very rough start to the year, could the Golden State Warriors really be turning their season around?
Speaking on ESPN, Stephen A. Smith listed the aspects that could change the rest of the season for the team.
“Jonathan Kuminga has elevated his level of play… Defensively, [the Warriors have] really stepped up,” Smith said, via ClutchPoints.
“If Klay Thompson finds his shot again with Steph Curry playing the way he’s playing… It changes everything,” he said.

Essentially, Smith was saying what many other people believe: the Warriors can become playoff contenders again if they continue to do what they have been doing.
Kuminga truly has had a breakout season and is averaging 15.5 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
As for Thompson, he showed some serious signs of life last week during his first game coming off the bench and the return of Green has really helped the team’s defense and chemistry.
Meanwhile, Curry is still a supremely talented shooter and team leader.
Lastly, other supporting players on the team are stepping up and helping the Warriors out.
They entered the All-Star Break in excellent shape, having just won 8 of their last 10 games.
They will be back at it on Thursday, facing off against the Los Angeles Lakers before they take on the Charlotte Hornets and Denver Nuggets.
If the last couple of weeks are an indication of what’s to come, Warriors fans should start to get excited.
They have a long way to go, but they are pointed in the right direction for the first time in a long time.
