A storm could be brewing in the locker room of the Golden State Warriors, considering how the team’s season has gone so far.
Another addition to the already underwhelming season was Jonathan Kuminga’s recent comments about the lack of playing time this season following the Warriors’ heartbreaking loss against the Denver Nuggets.
Kuminga has reportedly lost faith in head coach Steve Kerr after not getting enough opportunities to play extended minutes.
Stephen Curry was recently asked about his thoughts on Kuminga’s comments about Kerr via Warriors on NBCS on Twitter.
“He is not wrong in being upset, pissed off, wanting to play,” Curry said.

Curry pointed out that Kuminga is not wrong about wanting to play more.
After all, he is a young star with a lot of potential, and the only way to unlock his full potential will be to play considerable minutes during games.
However, at the same time, Curry also shared that Kuminga could have done a better job of expressing his feelings.
To put things into perspective, Kuminga has played 22.1 minutes per game this season, averaging 12.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game for the Warriors.
Obviously, Kuminga is not playing a lot of minutes this season, but these are his career-high minutes for the Warriors.
Considering Kuminga was the seventh overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, he certainly has the potential to become a star on another team.
If Kerr doesn’t find a way to incorporate him, it won’t be a surprise if Kuminga demands a trade sooner rather than later.
