The Golden State Warriors continue to falter and struggle and are hanging onto the 12th seed in the Western Conference with a very disappointing 18-22 record.
Time is running out for the team and if they want to reach the playoffs again, they will need a definitive game plan to turn things around.
Speaking to NBC Sports, Stephen Curry opened up about what Golden State has to do in the days and weeks ahead.
“Try to compete, try to win, try to execute the things that we’ve struggled with all year. With our defensive execution. Getting an identity of how we are going to win games,” Curry said.
He continued: “We have to remind ourselves of that mission as we go forward with the next stretch of the schedule but, really, it’s just about tomorrow and can we go get a win and enjoy ourselves because then we deserve that.”

The Warriors are now officially halfway through the season but they haven’t given fans much to believe in.
The team is aching for a number of reasons, partly because of their troubled track record and partly because of the recent death of assistant coach Dejan Milojevic.
Things are just not looking good for the Warriors and it’ll take a gargantuan effort to turn the season around.
Curry said that the team needs to be reminded of the mission they are on and also just focus on one game at a time.
That is a wise move because thinking too far into the future can create headaches.
There is a good chance that the future of the team looks radically different than its present because several trades could be on the horizon and the roster could be changed in a big way very soon.
Curry isn’t thinking about that.
In fact, he isn’t thinking about anything but winning the next game and keeping his team on track.
