It looked like the Golden State Warriors were going to beat the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night but in the end, they lost the game and also missed out on their chance to reach the second round of the In-Season Tournament.
Following the game, Stephen Curry opened up about the “funk” that his team is in.
Calling it “frustrating” and a “tough pill to swallow,” Curry told NBC Sports that everyone will have to “look ourselves in the mirror, and figure out what we, individually can do better.”

At one point in the game, the Warriors led by as many as 24 points and were up 17 points over the Kings at halftime.
But then Golden State gave the game away, making numerous mistakes that cost them the much-needed victory.
They looked very sloppy at times and committed 18 turnovers, many of which were converted into buckets for Sacramento.
The Warriors were also called for 31 fouls, which repeatedly allowed the Kings to walk to the free-throw line.
On paper, this loss wasn’t too severe because Golden State has still won two of their last four games.
But when watching the game, fans were shocked by how bad the Warriors looked and they were disappointed by the amateur mistakes that were made.
Even with Curry, Klay Thompson, and Andrew Wiggins all scoring more than 20 points, the Warriors weren’t able to keep up with the Kings.
They were outplayed by a team they have to be better than in the playoffs.
This hasn’t been the best season for the Warriors and they are still trying to work out their problems and look like championship contenders again.
Tuesday night felt like a low moment for the team and now they need to find a way forward.
