Stephen Curry has been a monumental part of the Golden State Warriors and the entire NBA for 14 years now.
During that time, he has transformed the game and become one of the biggest names in sports history.
It’s been an amazing story but every great tale has to come to an end eventually.
But is Curry’s end of the road approaching?
Speaking to the press during All-Star Weekend, Curry touched upon the idea of retirement.
“I think about it all the time, but the thoughts stop because you gotta get ready for the next game and there’s a routine and a cycle that goes where you embrace the now,” Curry said, via ClutchPoints.
“Eventually, it’ll get to a point where you’ll wake up and whatever your body is telling and your mind is telling you it’s time, but I don’t think I’m anywhere close to that,” he added.

With this statement, Warriors fans were able to breathe a big sigh of relief because Curry literally said that he’s nowhere near retiring.
That’s not a shock when you consider that he is still playing 33.5 minutes per game and is posting 28 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Curry is easily still the most important part of the Warriors’ roster.
In fact, before the recent trade deadline, inside reports from the team said they’d be willing to part ways with anyone but him.
Curry has remained in good health and good spirits and is still very consequential and impactful for the Warriors.
Unless some unforeseen injury pops up, he could be playing the game for at least several more seasons.
Curry is 35 years old and one of the best NBA players alive.
How will he be performing when he’s 39 or 40?
