Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is already one of the most successful athletes alive.
With the Warriors, Curry is a four-time champion, a Finals MVP, a two-time scoring champion, an eight-time All-Star, and a member of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team.
People already knew that Curry was in a very special class and was a truly rare breed.
But he’s about to reach a level that few others have.

Curry is close to signing another deal with Under Armour that will give him a $1 billion lifetime contract.
If Curry does this, he will sit alongside athletes such as LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Roger Federer.
It’s not often that anyone – even huge sports stars – become billionaires so this is a very big deal for Curry.
Is he really worth that much?
Curry’s Cash
There is no doubt that Curry is one of the most talented players alive.
He has changed the way that people play basketball and has transformed how others view it.
His name has become synonymous with greatness and skill so, yes, he really is worth that much money.
Under Armour knows that because Curry has helped their products reach new levels of popularity.
With this new contract, Curry and James will be the only active NBA players worth more than a billion dollars.
Michael Jordan, who is the richest baseball player of all time, has found tons of financial success after retiring thanks to his multiple endorsement deals and his relationship with Nike.
Even though Curry has one eye on his business plans, he isn’t close to retiring from the game and recently said that he wants to play for “at least” four more years.
