Stephen Curry believes that Chris Paul will be returning to the Golden State Warriors at the perfect time.
Following Sunday night’s loss to the Denver Nuggets, Curry said that the Warriors were “not in a great place” when Paul got hurt at the start of January.
But since then, Golden State has gotten a lot better and Paul can help them become stronger.
According to a video shared by NBC Sports, Curry said that Paul will be able to “elevate” the team and provide assistance either with the first or second unit.
He noted that Paul is one of the best floor generals in the league and gets other players involved, which will ultimately help the Warriors in a very big way, especially if the rest of the roster continues to play as they have been lately.

Curry admits that the Warriors didn’t play very well on Sunday night, leading to a disappointing 119-103 loss to the Denver Nuggets.
They now face a four-game road trip and Paul could return at any point.
Paul will be part of the team’s bench, along with Klay Thompson.
That bench has been doing quite well lately and has been progressing in some positive ways during Paul’s absence.
The return of Paul, the addition of Thompson, and the growth of the bench are making Warriors fans excited for what could be ahead.
For years now, Paul has been one of the NBA’s best point guards and a veteran voice of reason and experience for his teams.
Paul is probably going to bring his mix of skills and knowledge to the Warriors when he comes back, which is why Curry is so sure that he could help.
