It is startling to think that there will be a day when the NBA is without Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors.
No one plays in the league forever and even the most talented and healthiest stars eventually hang up their jerseys.
This is not a young’s man game and it’s very rare to see someone on the court in their 40s.

Curry is 34 which means he’s not out of gas yet but is starting to think of the final phase of his career.
The baby-faced assassin isn’t giving up basketball just yet, though, and he seems to be ready to fight for a few more years, at the very least.
Curry recently said that he wants to play “at least” four more years.
While four years is definitely a long time it can go by in the blink of an eye for NBA teams.
What will a league without Curry look like?
The Human Torch Cools Off
Based on what we saw last season, there is no doubt that Curry will keep his foot on the gas until his very last game in the league.
No one should worry about him running out of steam or going easy in the last years of his career.
When the time comes for him to retire, the Warriors will be stuck in a very tough spot.
Obviously, it will be an incredibly long time before a player comes even remotely close to Curry in a number of ways.
The team will have to reshape itself and try to find a new identity.
If Curry were to retire today, the Warriors would still have Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, and young guys such as Jordan Poole, Jonathan Kuminga, and others.
Even with that talent, the Warriors are going to enjoy every single second they can get of Curry.
