Stephen Curry and his Golden State Warriors earned another important win on Thursday night, beating the Los Angeles Lakers 128-110.
Multiple Warriors players showed up in a big way during the game but it was once again Curry who did the most, scoring 30 points, 8 assists, and 3 steals during the game.
Speaking to Jason Dumas afterward, Curry talked a bit about his defensive plans and how he is trying to help his team.
“I’m not a defensive stopper by any means but I am trying to affect the game in different ways,” Curry said.
Asked Steph about some of his defensive highlights tonight — there were a bunch.

Curry is right when he says he’s not much of a defensive stopper, even though his three steals in Thursday’s game certainly helped the team.
However, his commitment to affecting the game in other ways is a good one and it’s a huge benefit for the Warriors.
When Curry gets hot, especially from beyond the three-point line, he simply cannot be stopped.
That was the problem the Lakers had on Thursday, as it seemed like they just couldn’t figure out Curry.
Even after all these years, he is a serious headache for his opponents and throws defensive plans out the window.
Golden State has now won 9 of their last 11 games and the team is looking much better than they did last month.
On Friday night, they will face the Charlotte Hornets, followed by the Denver Nuggets, Washington Wizards, New York Knicks, and Toronto Raptors.
The team is heating up and Curry is a huge part of that.
As long as he keeps affecting the game and the rest of the team steps up, the Warriors could score a few more big wins over the next few days.
