Despite the fact that Stephen Curry has accomplished so much during his 14 years in the NBA, he still has certain people who criticize him regularly.
They typically say that his style of playing has subtracted a lot of competitiveness from basketball and turned it into a game of people attempting wildly deep three-pointers.
But Curry knows the impact he has had and is defending it.
As noted by Legion Hoops, he recently changed his bio on TikTok to read, “Did not, in fact, ruin basketball.”

With ten All-Star selections, two MVP trophies, four championships, a Finals MVP, and the most three-pointers in NBA history, Curry has undoubtedly done a lot.
Still, there are definitely people who don’t like the way he plays basketball and how he has transformed the game.
There are some who want the game to be physical and more about defense and playing in the paint.
As you can imagine, Curry’s manner of posting three-pointers takes away from that, hence the criticism.
There is no doubt that Curry has secured a place for himself in the Hall of Fame.
And even though he is 35 years old, he said that he doesn’t plan to retire anytime soon.
That means that he could do so much more in his final years, including possibly winning another championship.
The bigger a basketball star is, the more feedback they will receive, both positive and negative.
That is simply the nature of being an NBA superstar.
But every once in a while, a player like Curry will respond to nasty words about him, even if it’s in just a tongue-in-cheek fashion on social media.
