Conventional wisdom has long said that Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is the best three-point shooter in the league.
There is a good reason for that thought: he is officially the leader in three-point shots in all of NBA history.
And, yes, he makes it all look so easy as if scoring from downtown is something he can do in his sleep.

However, he isn’t the only master of the three in the league.
In fact, Curry actually doesn’t have the most three-pointers over the last five seasons.
Buddy Hield of the Indiana Pacers has scored the most three-point shots over the last five years, with 1,269.
Behind him is James Harden of the Philadelphia 76ers, with 1,211.
Curry is sneaking up in third place with an even 1,200 threes.
This shows that Curry might have started the current three-point trend in the league but he’s technically not making the most buckets from beyond the arc.
Chef Curry’s Creation
Before Curry, the NBA wasn’t so focused on three-pointers.
His style of play has quite literally changed how people play the game – and what fans expect from it.
We now have a smaller, faster, guard-heavy NBA.
Others have followed Curry’s lead, including Hield.
Just because Curry hasn’t scored the most three-pointers over the last five seasons doesn’t mean he isn’t the best shooter around.
Curry really does have an unnatural skill for making these difficult shots and he seems to nail them when they are needed most.
It doesn’t matter where he is shooting from, Curry can get the ball in the bucket.
No one makes it look as easy as he does.
