The Golden State Warriors made one of the best decisions in the history of their franchise by selecting Stephen Curry as the seventh overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft.
Curry took some time to settle into the league, but he has changed the way that fans look at the Warriors.
The Dubs went from being a mediocre team to one of the best of all time, thanks to Curry’s stardom.
A key reason behind Curry’s importance to the Warriors is the fact that he helped the team win four NBA championships.
But has Curry done enough in his career to be considered the greatest basketball player of all time?
NBA analyst Shaquille O’Neal certainly believes so, as revealed via NBA on TNT on Twitter.
“I’m wondering… Is it time to start putting him as the best player of all time?” O’Neal asked.

Taking a look at Stephen Curry’s resume, one can see that he is a four-time NBA champion, Finals MVP, two-time NBA MVP, Western Conference Finals MVP, nine-time All-NBA, nine-time NBA All-Star, two-time scoring champion, and steal champion.
Additionally, Curry has averaged 24.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game for the Warriors during his NBA career spanning 15 seasons.
Curry has also changed the way that the game of basketball is played in the modern era, thanks to his insane three-point shooting ability.
Despite having such merits to his name, Curry is arguably behind the likes of Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and even Magic Johnson in terms of the GOAT debate.
