The entire NBA world – including fans of the Golden State Warriors – are waiting to see what happens with Kevin Durant.
He is obviously not going to stick around with the Brooklyn Nets but where will he land?
Some people think he could make his way back to the west coast with the only team he’s won a championship with: the Warriors.
But the possibility of that happening may be doomed.
Teams have been unwilling to meet the Nets' asking price for Kevin Durant, per @windhorstespn.

The Brooklyn Nets obviously want a lot in exchange for a talent like Durant but they are having a hard time getting it.
They are especially having difficulty in trading Durant for a group of young players, like the ones they want from the Warriors.
The Warriors are resistant to agree to the steep asking price that would include athletes like Jordan Poole, Jonathan Kuminga, James Wiseman, and Moses Moody.
If the Warriors won’t part with these guys, does that mean the future of Durant in the Bay Area is non-existent?
Steep Price Point
The Warriors really have a good thing going with their up-and-coming stars who shined a lot recently.
Take Poole for example, he really became a fan favorite and a valuable asset for the team during the postseason.
The Nets want not just Poole but multiple young players and it feels like it would ultimately be too much for the Warriors to handle.
But what team within the league would be willing to do it?
While Durant is immensely talented, is he worth multiple players who are on their ways to being superstars?
The Warriors sure don’t think so and that might put an end to any possible trade.
