Over the last few weeks, there have been many conversations about Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors and his repeated technical fouls and ejections.
This was all brought up again in a very big way when he faced a five-game suspension for throwing Rudy Gobert of the Minnesota Timberwolves into a chokehold during a heated on-court scuffle.
Many people think that Green went too far and put the Warriors’ entire season in jeopardy.
Rachel Nichols is not one of those people.
Speaking on Undisputed, Nichols said that Green is still beloved by players on the team and that other NBA stars would love to have him on their roster.
“Every single guy on the Warriors want him on that roster. Even if you hate playing against him, he’s the kind of guy you want on your team,” Nichols said.

There is solid proof that Green is a cherished and valued part of the Warriors organization.
Klay Thompson, Stephen Curry, Steve Kerr, and others at Golden State have repeatedly talked about how much Green brings to the game, both on and off-court.
Nichols claimed that the sort of energy and fight that Green has in every single game is a powerful asset that nearly all NBA teams would love to have.
He may ruffle some feathers and upset fans (and league officials) but Green has something very important and is a definitive leader.
Nichols also added her opinion that the chokehold Gobert experienced wasn’t that bad and that people should lessen their outrage.
Some will agree with her while others will think she is way out of line, and that is the case with nearly every argument about Green.
