The Golden State Warriors have struggled to play well during the 2023-24 NBA season, and a huge reason behind their struggles is the absence of the real Draymond Green.
Sure, during the Warriors’ dominant era in the NBA, the likes of Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and Klay Thompson did most of the job for the team.
But if it weren’t for Green being the vocal and defensive leader of the team, the Warriors may have never won four NBA championships in the modern era.
Keeping that in mind, it’s no surprise that Philadelphia 76ers guard Patrick Beverley included Green in his NBA All-Dawg team via Pat Bev Pod on Twitter.
“I’ve got Draymond in there for sure,” Beverley said.

In layman’s terms, the players that Beverley picked perform with great tenacity and have a never-give-up mentality when they are on the floor.
Apart from Green, Beverley included Joel Embiid, Anthony Edwards, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Alex Caruso on the roster of his NBA All-Dawg team.
Although the inclusion of Embiid, Edwards, and Antetokounmpo doesn’t surprise many, Caruo’s addition certainly did.
Anyway, coming back to Draymond Green, the veteran forward has always been the defensive anchor for the team since he became a key member of the Warriors.
However, in the 2023-24 NBA season, Green has seemingly lost his calm and is doing more harm than good for the Dubs.
As of now, Green is serving an indefinite suspension by the Warriors, and there is no timetable for his return to the season.
The Warriors are currently the 11th seed in the Western Conference without their vocal leader on the court.
