The Golden State Warriors have dealt with a plethora of issues during the 2023-24 NBA season.
Initially, most of their issues related to just the basketball side of things due to poor performances by their star players.
However, the Warriors are currently dealing with the loss of their assistant coach, Dejan Milojevic.
The international basketball icon suffered a heart attack during a private team dinner of the Golden State Warriors.
While the Dubs were allowed to process the news when two of their regular season games were postponed by the NBA, it’s still a tough situation to deal with.
Evidently, the Warriors are doing everything in their power to honor the late basketball coach.
Speaking of which, the president of KK Partizan, Ostoja Mijailovic, recently hinted at a potential friendly game of basketball between his club and the Warriors via NBA Serbia on Twitter.
“It is true that we are thinking of inviting Golden State to play on an outdoor court [in Belgrade] in honor of Dejan Milojevic,” Mijailovic said.

As of now, there has been no confirmation of the matchup, but Mijailovic did reveal that Partizan is indeed contemplating inviting the Warriors to play in Belgrade.
Belgrade is home to one of the greatest outdoor courts in the world, and it would be amazing to witness a game between the Warriors and Partizan on the same court.
Considering how much the Warriors loved Milojevic, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the organization accepted the invitation.
The Dubs are currently the 12th seed in the Western Conference with an underwhelming record of 19-23 during the 2023-24 NBA season.
