The stats show that Kuminga had just 27 assists in the first 27 games of the 2023-24 NBA season.
However, Kuminga has dished out 27 dimes in his last six games of the season.
Adding this aspect to his game allows the players on the Warriors team to focus on other duties.
Moreover, it takes the pressure off Curry to play the role of a primary point guard.
After all, Curry has never been a traditional point guard and relies mostly on his scoring prowess to win games for the team.
For the season, Kuminga is averaging a solid 15.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game for the Warriors in 56 appearances.
