Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud had a tough weekend, but he is taking inspiration from Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry.
According to Chris Law, after throwing three interceptions during Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals, Stroud said, “Steph Curry don’t ever stop shooting. I don’t have no shame in my game.”
CJ Stroud pg presser:
“Steph Curry don’t ever stop shooting… I don’t have no shame in my game”He couldn’t have had Ron Shelton or Aaron Sorkin w/ a direct line to an IFB in his ear & had it said any better. Not only what, but the confidence & self belief in which he said it

Stroud is obviously attempting to gain motivation from one of the best NBA players of all time.
He is smart to do so because, for years now, Curry has had incredible confidence, and that has helped him lead his Warriors to four championships.
Even now, when the Warriors are struggling, Curry continues to play his heart out and believe in himself.
Golden State might be in a tough spot right now, but Curry sure isn’t.
He is averaging 30.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game, and this is the first time in three years that he is producing more than 30 points a game.
He is still putting up 19.7 field goal attempts per game and is sinking 47.9% of them.
And his three-point percentage remains strong too, at 44.7%
Of course, it’s more than just confidence, and Curry has a skillset that all NBA stars dream of.
However, his self-belief is definitely a major part of his swagger, his personality, and his success.
Curry and the Warriors have their work cut out for them right now because they have fallen to other teams for six games in a row.
Curry sat out of two of those due to an injury, but he came back in a strong way in the latest game, scoring 25 against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
He wasn’t able to muster up a win for his team, but Curry was still playing with supreme confidence.
