Draymond Green returned to the Golden State Warriors on Monday night but he wasn’t enough to help them get a win.
In the end, the Warriors were taken down 116-107 by the Memphis Grizzlies and now have an 18-22 record.
On Tuesday morning’s Run It Back, Lou Williams spoke about the Warriors’ biggest problem: a lack of defense.
“It’s going to be bad for them until they start sitting down and guarding somebody,” Williams said.

Williams is essentially echoing the sentiment shared by Green after the game.
Green told the press that his team needs to do much better with guarding opponents and not letting them get their shots.
On Monday night, multiple Grizzlies stars scored from all over the court.
Vince Williams Jr. led the way with 24 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists, while Gregory Jackson II got 23 points and 6 rebounds.
There were five other Memphis players who scored in the double digits and the Warriors couldn’t slow them down.
Green, who is usually a huge defensive asset, scored 7 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists during his return.
He came off the bench and played for 23 minutes without any sort of incident, thankfully.
Green is returning to the team during one of their most challenging stretches ever.
The team is 12th in the West now and has a number of problems that need to be addressed as soon as possible.
Their defense is definitely lacking and needs to be improved if they wish to turn this season around.
Time is running out for the Warriors, and they need to listen to Williams, Green, and everyone else telling them to work on their defense.
