Thursday was another rough night for the Golden State Warriors, who lost 114-102 to the Miami Heat and suffered their second defeat in a row.
No one on the Warriors had a great night but rookie Brandin Podziemski put it all on his shoulders, telling the press that he took responsibility for losing because he didn’t bring the energy.
When told about this, Klay Thompson poked fun at Podziemski.
“Jeez. Dramatic rookie,” Thompson said, according to a video from NBC Sports.

Although Thompson made light of Podziemski’s comments, he ultimately agreed that no one had enough energy.
Thompson himself only scored 13 points and 5 assists, going 2-of-6 from the three-point line.
Podziemski scored just 10, and Jonathan Kuminga also barely reached double digits.
Even Stephen Curry wasn’t having a good game, posting his own meager 13 points and shooting just 2-of-8 from beyond the arc.
All in all, everyone on the roster was having a difficult night and it showed.
This loss came just days after the Warriors got overtaken by the Denver Nuggets on Christmas Day.
They have three more games lined up starting on Saturday, and they’ll be tough ones as well: they face the Dallas Mavericks, Orlando Magic, and Nuggets again over the next few days.
Thankfully, they will then square off against the Detroit Pistons on January 5.
The Warriors won’t be able to find a lot of wins if they don’t fix the energy problem they had on Thursday night.
It’s not clear what was behind it; maybe it was the holidays, the traveling, or just regular fatigue.
Whatever caused it, Golden State needs to shake it off as soon as possible.
