The Golden State Warriors have remained one of the most beloved franchises in the NBA over the last decade or so.
As a result, the Warriors are one of the most preferred teams to play during the NBA Christmas Day.
This season, the Dubs are all set to face off against the reigning champions of the league, the Denver Nuggets, for their Christmas Day matchup.
Ahead of the much-anticipated game, Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson shared his views on it via Warriors on NBCS on Twitter.
“It’d be a great time. They are the defending champs,” Thompson said.

Although the Warriors are not new to playing in nationally televised games, they will be heading to the matchup as the underdogs for a change.
The Warriors have pretty much struggled to win games outside of their recent winning streak.
Following the most recent 126-106 win against the Portland Trail Blazers, the Warriors are now on a five-game winning streak.
As a result, they have improved their record to 15-14 ahead of the NBA Christmas Day.
Although the Warriors are soaring with confidence right now, they are still the 10th seed in the Western Conference.
Keeping that in mind, the Dubs could face a tough time in defeating the Denver Nuggets on Monday.
They will primarily rely on none other than Stephen Curry to bail them out if they find themselves in a slump against Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets.
Will the Golden State Warriors continue their good run of form against the Denver Nuggets? Well, fans will find out on NBA Christmas Day.
