It’s been quite the season so far for Golden State Warriors rookie Brandin Podziemski.
The guard is putting up 6.4 points and 3.8 rebounds per game and has been noticed by many fans.
And his own teammates love Podziemski, including Klay Thompson.
Speaking to the press, via NBC Sports, Thompson said that Podziemski “plays really hard” and “comes to work every day with so much joy.”
He predicted that Podziemski has a long, successful NBA career waiting for him.

Thompson said that he isn’t giving any advice to Podziemski, instead letting the young man figure out the game and find his footing in the league on his own.
Podziemski has had a chance to prove himself to fans even more lately.
The Warriors were without Stephen Curry for several games due to injury, which put more pressure on Podziemski.
But it also gave him ample opportunity to show what he was capable of.
His best night of the season came on November 14, when he scored 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Being a rookie in the NBA is difficult for a number of reasons, especially because it is hard to earn a lot of time on the court.
But Podziemski is making a case for a lot more time in games.
Head coach Steve Kerr has many options, especially for players who can shoot well from all over the court.
That means that Podziemski will probably still have to fight hard to stay in the rotation.
But Kerr knows he has a new talent that could be nurtured and turned into even more with Podziemski.
