Wednesday night was very special for the Golden State Warriors.
Not only did they earn a big 134-122 win over the Atlanta Hawks, but they also paid a special tribute to their late assistant coach, Dejan Milojevic.
On top of that, Klay Thompson scored five three-pointers and earned the seventh spot on the NBA’s all-time three-pointers list.
According to SplashBrosMuse, Thompson did this after 756 games, surpassing LeBron James, who has played 1,461 games.

Thompson has now scored 2,348 three-pointers during his years in the league.
However, James is hot on his heels and has landed 2,347, which means he could leapfrog over Thompson any day now.
In fact, James stole the seventh spot on this list just days before but it didn’t last long because Thompson was hot from beyond the arc on Wednesday.
The number one spot on the list belongs to Thompson’s teammate, of course.
Steph Curry is head and shoulders above the competition with 3,562 three-pointers made.
This latest achievement comes amid an extremely challenging season for Thompson, who has averaged 17.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.4 assists.
He is scoring 3.4 three-pointers per game, his lowest number in years.
Across the board, Thompson is doing less than he has in multiple seasons and is having a difficult time getting himself out of this rut.
That being said, he has looked a bit better lately and even scored 30 points just a few games ago.
Still, some people think there is a chance that Thompson could be traded away before the upcoming deadline.
Other people believe that the Warriors will continue to stick by Thompson’s side, knowing he will eventually improve his game as he has in the past.
Wednesday night was good for Thompson but he will need many more impressive games before he officially looks like himself again.
