Since the passing of Golden State Warriors assistant coach Dejan Milojević, fans and players across the league have been sending their love to his family and team.
Many players with the Warriors were deeply affected by their relationships with Milojević, including big man Kevon Looney.
Speaking to the press, via the Golden State Warriors on Twitter, Looney touched upon the type of man Milojević was.
Calling him “positive and joyful,” Looney stated that Milojević was authentic at all times.
“He was somebody that loved to teach. He loved to spread his knowledge and his love,” Looney said.

Milojević had been with the team for a couple of years before his fatal heart attack last week.
The team hasn’t played a game yet since his passing but will return to the court in a couple of days and will surely dedicate the game to Milojević.
During his time with the Warriors, Milojević specialized in working with big men, which means he grew very close with Looney.
Just days after Milojević’s passing, Looney went to social media to share his love for his coach and noted how hard it’ll be to move on without him.
Looney and the Warriors were already having a very difficult season and the passing of Milojević makes it so much harder.
The good news is that they can come together as a team and help one another get through the grief and pain of losing their beloved assistant coach.
The Warriors are about to start a four-game home stretch, facing the Atlanta Hawks, Sacramento Kings, Los Angeles Lakers, and Philadelphia 76ers.
